Re: multi-core

ok, making progress i think. if i ctrl c early enough i can catch the settings. the thread_count instruction is not mentioned even though its there in the ini file. any ideas? on closer inspection even the line i entered to get it to produce the dvrmstoolbox xmls appears in a different place in the...

Re: ShowAnalyzer to Comskip

I recently switched over to Comskip from SA. I was running SAV1 with profiles and was it was working fairly well when it didn't get stuck on processing a file. It was also difficult to figure out why SA would classify a block as a commercial or a show. It could be done using SQLite and digging throu...

Good stuff! I told you it would be popular now that WTV support is there! ;)

Re: Comskip not working when using DVRMS Toolbox

2) Comskip doesn't recognize files that have DRM and are marked Copy Once. ShowAnalyzer would begin to work with DRM protected recordings and bail out after a few seconds when it couldn't properly read DRM protected files (as neither program should be able to read them). Comskip doesn't recognize t...

Re: Help decoding verbose log files

That's what I needed. I'm not used to looking for htm files. I was looking for a text file and didn't see it. That has the details I was looking for. :)

Re: Windows 7 .WTV file format support

Very impressed with the latest (81.019) version! Even with the default settings it is quite accurate with the dozen or so WTV files I copied onto my test machine. Since ShowAnalyzer appears to dead in terms of bug fixes or future development, I'm happy that Comskip is stepping up to fill the gap.

Help decoding verbose log files

I currently have verbosity=10 and I like the level of detail in the log files. I'm trying to use the data there to follow the scanning process and learn why certain settings result in better or worse detection. Most of the log file is pretty easy to follow and written in language that I mostly under...

Re: Missing setting from Comskip.ini

For a complete list of settings look in the comskip.txt file included in the distribution zip file. Or set verbose=10 and comskip will put a list of all possible settings inside the generated log file. You can cut the section with the parameters and use it without further changes as the comkip.ini ...

Missing setting from Comskip.ini

I discovered that "output_dvrmstb=0" is missing from the INI file and it took some digging to find that setting in some older posts. Please add it back in so those of us using DVRMSToolbox can turn that setting on and get the required XML files from Comskip. Oh, and thanks for a great prod...

I see you enable vprj output but I am not sure if that is what dvrmstoolbox expects
I added "output_dvrmstb=1" to comskip.ini and that generated the XML file that DTB expects.
