erik,
Does the comskip run benefit in any way (e.g., run faster) because the file already contains markers placed by PlayOn?

Re: New VideoReDo format
Erik, Would it be possible to escape the '&' char(s) to '&' in the <Filename> element of the .vprj file output for VideoReDo type 3 outputs, as originally requested by Jagad in a post dated Nov 1, 2014 in this thread? The unescaped '&' makes the .vprj file unacceptable to the latest ver...

Re: New VideoReDo format
I added the scene list to the videoredo3 output format in build 0.81.065 Can you test? First, the --videoredo3 CL option still is not working, in fact is rejected as an invalid option by 065. Putting OutputVideoReDo3=1 in the .ini file was the only way to get Type3 .vprj file output. I found the sa...

Re: New VideoReDo format
Erik,
Any progress on addressing the --videoredo3 issues in this thread?
CL option doesn't work as intended.
Type 3 project files have no scene markers.
Don't mean to be pushy but it's been two months since these issues were reported.

Re: New VideoReDo format
Additional info on VideoReDo-compatible project files: 1. For both type 3 (TVS4) and type 5 (TVS5) files, scene marker elements must have a TimeCode attribute, e.g.: <SceneList><SceneMarker Sequence="1" Timecode="00:00:56;00">560560112</SceneMarker> </SceneList> Currently comskip...

Re: New VideoReDo format
Actually it would be easier for me not to change the numbering. I can change the VAP program easily enough but there will be some users who choose to use older Comskip versions, resulting in support issues for me.

Re: New VideoReDo format
Is the v3 output wrong? or are the scene markers missing? Can you send me some annotated examples of the v5 format? Following are three .vprj examples resulting from running Comskip and VideoReDo V5 Adscan on the same 4 minute .mp4 file: First the VRD V5 AdScan output: <?xml version="1.0"...

Re: New VideoReDo format
erik,
Just a reminder: per my earlier post here the --videoredo3 command line option is not working in 064 -- it does not force the output of type 3 .vprj files.

Re: New VideoReDo format
My testing with 81_064 donators indicates only the videoredo3 parameter in the .ini file controls the .vprj output type, i.e., the --videoredo3 command line option has no effect. I've also tried it with the videoredo and videoredo3 lines completely removed from the ini file. Only when output_videore...

Re: New VideoReDo format
No, as both files have the same filename extension I can not write both. Its either one or the other. For the moment there is actually no reason to write version 3 files as the new videoredo can read version 2 files. Hi erik. VideoReDo is testing a major new version, V5 Beta. It will not accept the...

File size of free vs. Early Access executables
I distribute a free version of ComSkip (comskip.exe, not the GUI version) with my program VideoReDoAutoProcessor (VAP, http://www.videoredo.net/msgBoard/showthread.php?16340-VideoReDo-Autoprocessor-Program ). I instruct users that have the Early Access version to substitute that comskip.exe and .ini...

Re: New VideoReDo format
The problem is the version of VRD. Update to the latest beta, build 637g:
