Re: Basic Tuning Advice

Thanks Erik. I'll tinker around. What is the lowest non_uniformity I should consider using? The help suggests that 250 is the lowest, but based on my data above, it seems like it could be set much lower.

Basic Tuning Advice

I'm reading though tuning.html and am looking for verification that I'm doing things right. Here are the first number rows of the short.csv file, sorted by brightness (low to high): frame brightness scene_change logo uniform sound 1 3 0 0 0 107 25169 16 0 0 0 1387 25170 16 500 0 0 137 25171 16 495 0...

Re: in the GUI, how do i read the rows at the top?

Hi Erik! I did. I keep rereading it, but I'm a little slow in understanding the results and what to do with them, if I'm not getting the results I want. Here is an example: http://i605.photobucket.com/albums/tt137/woodchuck_55/comskipgui_questions.png 1) White is the show, grey is commercial. 2) Asp...

in the GUI, how do i read the rows at the top?

I'm trying to tune comskip with the GUI. I understand most of the graph, but the rows right under the commercial timeline at the top seem to be trying to tell me something. My commercial cut point isn't quite right and I see some black and white in the bar just under it. I'm guessing that my scoring...

Re: Search Step Failed, Error Too Big

Thanks Erik. I managed to create a smaller recording. Where can I find the connection details for your FTP site? I don't see them listed anywhere..

Re: Search Step Failed, Error Too Big

Any advice on chopping a WTV up without hurting the integrity? This sucker is 15 minutes long, but is 1.5Gb in size.

Search Step Failed, Error Too Big

When I try and use the debug window of comskip, I keep getting this error in the associated command window: "Search Step Failed, Error Too Big: target = XXX.XXX, pos = XXX.XXX". The problem is that the video does not move forward in the debug window, so I cannot use it for tuning. Any idea...

Comskip Crashage on Live TV Scans

I'm using comskip donators version to scan live TV using DVRMS Toolbox and 7MC. Occasionally I'm getting crashes and haven't found a way to nail down what is happening. Based on some digging around in these forums, I have tried the following: -Added a 5 minute timer to my DVRMS profile. -thread_coun...
