Comskip, Live Recordings and MediaPortal
Hi There has been a long term problem that comskip doesn't work with MediaPortal TV Server and live recordings. I believe the problem involves comskip reaching the end of the live recording and thinking that the recording has finished; so it prematurely stops analysing the file. Is there any chance ...

Re: Converting .edl into .csv
On further reading csv is probably not a chapter file for use with mkv. When I use handbrake to encode my .ts recording it asks for a chapter file and the format is *.csv Basically I want to create mkvs of my .ts recordings with chapter markers for the commercial breaks I do not want to remove the c...

Re: Re-processing Live TV
Hi Erik Is there any difference in the final result if we run comskip during a recording vs after it has finished. Jagad said that in his experience the comskip results were poor during his recording, but it was a lot better in the final result. Does comskip re-process a file at the end of a live re...

Re: Re-processing Live TV
MP TV-SERVER RECORDING: Data Modified and Date Created (as seen in windows explorer) are set to the time and date of the start of the recording. Data modified remains static during the recording, but does get updated at the end of the recording. If comskip wanted to it could just keep trying to proc...

Processing Live TV
ok I seem to be unable to get comskip to work on live recordings. It looks like it stops after only a couple of minutes of processing. The logs show no errors, it's as though it thinks the recording has finished. I am using "comskip -t -d 79 recording.ts" on a live recording I have the fol...
