Re: Tweaking settings using csv output?
Unfortunately, here channels keep their logo even during commercials and aspect ratio never changes, so the only way to detect them, is using fast scene changes and different volume. So far I am failing miserably, comskip donator's never detects any commercial breaks whatsoever. Probably I've twitch...

Re: Tweaking settings using csv output?
Yes, but probably I am missing something, because so far my changes produced no difference.
I will keep trying.

Re: Tweaking settings using csv output?
So that means that after I change my ini settings, I can go and feed my old csv file to Comskip and it will produce different cutscene output files, based on my ini changes?

Tweaking settings using csv output?
Hello!
I am trying to get my ini file right for my country's channels.
Is there any shortcut to reuse the output .csv file instead of having to do the slow process of parsing again and again the source .ts file?
Thank you.

Re: Support for VLC player
According to this, it does: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edit_decision_list#Systems_supporting_EDL_playback.2C_not_just_EDL_cutting (still can't use forum URL tag) I am not sure how to create a test, but I will do my best. EDIT: A deeper search revealed this: https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php...

Re: Support for VLC player
Sorry for digging out this thread, but I was wondering if XSPF format is suitable for commercial skipping and if it's supported already (couldn't find it on latest donator's but I might be blind): https://wiki.videolan.org/XSPF/ (forum rank doesn't allow me to post links) What player do you suggest ...

Re: Completely new approach for processing while recording
Since the v81.054 was released, I've tested it to ~70 .wtv recordings I've made at the past, the majority of them H.264/AVC (I've switched away from WMC few months ago) and all of them completed successfully, with log file stating at the end the "Time at end of run:". I would test some mor...

Re:
Sorry for the thread necromancy, but when I set:erik wrote:play_nice is a boolean, either 0 or 1.
play_nice=0
it doesn't seem to disable play_nice schedule,
so instead I have to comment out play_nice_start/play_nice_end
What am I doing wrong?

So this won't have an effect to .ts files, right?erik wrote:its more in how I internally deal with .wtv files during recording

Re: Check if cutscene method works
This was solved in build 0.81.053 but I had to remove it due to a bug. Hope to release build 054 with a solution within some weeks. If you check the log files, you will see that I've used build 0.81.053, so all the problems I described, are related to the "solved" build. After all, with b...

Re: Check if cutscene method works
In the .csv file I see the cutscene value changing, this implies is working. However the value never gets below 49 so you may not have chosen a good cutframe or need to change the threshold As the ComskipGUI is the only way to generate those DMP files and I don't know how to view what I've saved, i...

Check if cutscene method works
Hello, this is my first post here! I am trying to use the cutscene method to detect breaks but I am not sure if Comskip is actually using my dmp file. The frame I've captured actually appears just before commercial break ends. What should I look in the log file for? http://www65.zippyshare.com/v/541...
