help with before_logo tuning
Greetings, I am trying to figure out this before_logo parameter. Can someone (Erik?) tell me if I'm doing this right? There is a station that returns from commercial 10 seconds EXACTLY before the logo appears. Sometimes comskip detects the correct beginning of the show, but sometimes it skips the fi...

strict combined commercials scoring twice?
Hey Erik-- using newest donator version.. noticed an odd behavior: Combining Blocks 1 thru 3 result in strict standard commercial length of 180.18 with a tolerance of 0.520000. Block 1 score: Before - 1.00 After - 1.18 Combined count - 1 Block 2 score: Before - 1.00 After - 1.18 Combined count - 1 B...

always_keep_last_seconds bug?
Perhaps another bug also related to EDL/XML files in conjunction with always_keep_last_seconds. I ran comskip four times, with various settings of always_keep_last_seconds and got these for EDL output: 1. always_keep_last_seconds unset 0.00 61.52 0 112.00 278.00 0 899.96 1048.28 0 [b]1620.12 1858.20...

EDL file and TXT file are not commercial-equivalent
Noticed something today that perhaps is a bug. I'm using an automated commercial stripper (removeCommercials.py) which uses ffmpeg to do the file cutting. It uses the EDL file to do the boundaries. With the show I'm working with, I needed to add the always_keep_last_seconds=60 command, which generat...

why is this scored as show not commercial?
Greetings.. Just did a run on Wayne's World 2. Works great but I don't understand the following bit in the logfile. Block 32 is two 2 min commercials, exactly 120 sec. It does not have a logo, despite comskip reporting it does (the logo file is actually decent but not perfect). I can email the .csv ...

Re: logo not detected despite using "good" logo file
Thanks for the reply. Using that new setting, it still made the same odd logo and had the same error I quote earlier.
The actual logo is partly transparent, does that cause problems?
Why doesn't the logo file i provide seem to be working?
Thanks again!

logo not detected despite using "good" logo file
Hello. Recently started using comskip... still in the trial phase but likely will start using the donor version very soon if I can get the bugs ironed out! Great program!! I used comskip on Seinfeld and I used a previously generated logo file which I think to be pretty good. However, when looking th...
