going from 5 to 0 left too much commercial time (mostly promo stuff where the logo is visible) in the file but the end of the desired show segment just before the commercial block cut is still very slightly slightly truncated. I'm trying 3 but am not sure if this will make the cuts worse.

No, because making negative value possible requires a substantial change in code due to an unfortunate design choice.

Was already looking if negative values might be an option I know it's three years on but I have just started using MCEBuddy with ComSkip and have run into this issue. Search brought me here and I'm going to change the default shrink_logo setting to 0 to see if it solves this but I am wondering if t...

Consider changing increasing the padding (in seconds) or experiment with larger values for shrink_logo (increment in steps of 5 seconds) I couldn't find "Padding" in the ini editor but see it in the ini using notepad++. The default is 0. to increase it, set it to 1 or can decimals be used such as 0...
