Re: comskip82_007_donators
Interesting. I've been using the .ini file since the beginning, hence why I never ran into that issue.

Re: comskip82_007_donators
I downloaded the update file for my Win7x64. When I ran it, it said the update was already applied and present on my system.
Shoot, I was hoping this would be the fix.

Re: comskip82_007_donators
Sorry erik, running the executable gives the same error (Entry Point Not Found):
The procedure entry point ReleaseSemaphore could not be located in the dynamic link library api-ms-win-core-sync-I1-2-0.dll.

Re: new version
The newest version had some issues and could not be run (on Win7 x64 at least). It's been withdrawn temporarily as erik works to get it back up.

Re: comskip82_007_donators
I have the exactly same thing on my 2 Windows 7 x64 machines.
I googled some 'fixes' but they seem very sketchy (copying and adding specific .dll files to the Windows folders) so I did not proceed further.

81.078 not seen on donators page?
According to the readme from 5/31 on the download page, 81.078 is the latest, but I do not see that version on the donators' download page.
EDIT: nevermind, found the reason for its removal viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1660
Hope it comes back up soon!

WMC and comskip, latest consensus?
Hi everyone, I've been browsing the forums and other internet resources trying to find consistent answers to my questions. I'm running WMC7 x64. I'm testing the waters for converting from SageTV to WMC due to the inconsistent ability to record with a HDHR Prime and SageDTV. What I'm running now: Lat...

Re: comskip crashes
Looks like you've done it!
This latest version is running and processing now on my AMD Athlon XP whereas before it just crashed before anything started.

Re: comskip crashes
That explains a lot! Thanks for looking into it. Looking forward to trying the .80 version with a recompiled comcodec.dll.

Re: comskip crashes
I'd like to report the exact same problem. Running Windows XP Pro on my two computers. The version 0.80 comskip works fine on the Dual Core, but it crashes before anything can happen (no debug console can even be seen) on the Athlon XP+ I use as my DVR. Going back to a 0.79 version on the AMD comput...
