Did you check if there are cut points before and after the commercial? If not you can enable cutpoint generation after the logo disappears and before the logo appears I adjusted the cut-points to 2 instead of 5, that logo is always there on the shows I record. It disappears around 2 seconds before ...

It doesn't seem to punish the parts with no logo. 3 entire commercial breaks, it doesn't cut anything. The first one was cut but after that, it didn't cut a thing.

After a scan and remove, it still ends up to be about 52mins. Should be 43 at the most.

I will check it to figure out where it went wrong.

@erik https://www.tinozplace.com/tucker.ts Thanks so much! I don't presume this will be that difficult. It has a very easy logo to find and it's there for most shows, from start to finish. The biggest problem that I've seen is the ad for "My Pillow" being so long that it tries to count it ...

What if I put the video up for you to download. I have tried older comskips and they don't seem to work either. I try to advance it frame by frame with the arrow key and it won't advance past a certain point.

I don't understand all of the tunable parameters but I think that these shows should be very easy for comskip to get because there is always a very distinct logo on the screen until just before commercial.

I have a problem that I am pretty sure that has been addressed already and would hope that someone could give me a couple settings to try for eliminating commercials for shows on these channels. Currently, Comskip has major problems with any of the shows on the channel, it skips around and can't und...

Sure, I'll start reading the post now to follow instructions. I have a local HTTP server so you can download things as well.

On channels with station logos on ads, it won't include that in the skip segment.

Most TV shows include a rating when returning from commercial break. Also, a lot of shows end with a1-2 minute conclusion at the end of the show, within 1-2 minutes before the of the end of the recording.

I have been searching and searching for some decent settings but have yet to find them. Don't understand how to tune comskip but would really appreciate it if you could post something that you'd use for default and maybe something for cbs
