Re: Linux Hardware Decoding
I'm using this within a Docker container on an Intel Ivy Bridge CPU. With the Plex container I passed the /dev/dri GMA as a device. Any idea if this should also work with comskip?

Linux Hardware Decoding
Does hardware decoding work on the Linux version or only with Windows?

Windows Log comskip.exe 0xc0000005 Exceptions
Running version 0.81.092. I'm going to start trying to collect some verbose 10 logs but just wanted to make you aware that I'm seeing quite a few comskip.exe 0xc0000005 errors in my Windows Log. It appears I get at least one every day or so.

Re: No Ads Detected, Could Not Open Video Codec
This morning I did a live test again. Same result. Downgraded back to 0.81.076 and the issue has gone away. Did a live test again and it ran for over an hour without issue.

Re: No Ads Detected, Could Not Open Video Codec
The Commercial Detector plug-in for SageTV. It doesn't have a delay option. Just a live option.
I don't believe I've had a problem with this till last night.
The standoff option is currently set at 8000000.

Re: No Ads Detected, Could Not Open Video Codec
Seems to work fine if I run it manually outside SageTV.

No Ads Detected, Could Not Open Video Codec
Updated to the latest version last night. Am now getting .log files that simply just say "Could not open video codec" and now ads are not being detected. I'm doing live detection with SageTV recordings.
I also noticed that the logo files are not being deleted.

Re: Latest Donator Version + Live TV
The re-release of 81.053 is still not working with live tv. It gets to about 10 minutes into the recording and then stops. I had to back out to 81.052.

Re: Latest Donator Version + Live TV
Live TV is no longer working with version 81.053. I had to fall back to 81.052. I am using SageTV. Nothing else has changed except for updating the comskip executable.

I'm using SageTV with both HDHR's and a HD-PVR. I would be happy to test live detection.

AC3 Audio Stream Changes
I'm attempting to tune comskip for my HDPVR recordings. Not sure if I've done something wrong but the problem I'm running into is that comskip seems to be relying quite heavily on the results from the volume analysis. And I believe that is causing it, in part, to misdetect commercial segments as sho...
