Crash using both --verbose and --output in command line
Hi Erik, I have been testing out WTV support using Comskip 0.81.036. Whenever I try to use both --output= and --verbose= on the command line comskip crashes. Both options work fine when used alone. And specifying verbose=x in the ini rather than on the command line works fine, but using both togethe...

Non-Uniformity in black frames.
Hi Erik... Is there a way to set the maximum non-uniformity for a black frame, similar to the way that you can set the maximum volume allowed in a black frame with the max_volume=X option. At first I thought that the non_uniformity=X option works that way but it does not after testing. Since the con...

Different shrink_logo values for appear and disappear?
Hi Erik... Happy donator here, I have noticed that here in the US, the logo reliably disappears just moments before cutting to commercial, and reappears well after the next show segment starts. This reappearance time varies by network/show but is quite constant for any particular show. The reappeara...

Re: Strange behavior on aspect ratio change
Eric, Maybe I'm not clear on how Comskip is calculating AR changes. I gathered from the forums and tuning guide that the aspect ratio is calculated from the visible picture. In the following examples, all clearly have different aspect ratios but comskip lists all as 1.80. http://public.bay.livefiles...

Debug window won't display video for DVR-MS files
The subject says it all. I'm just wondering if there is a compatibility issue with the debug window displaying DVR-MS files. I can see the video playing in the debug window as comskip is running, but as soon as comskip is finished, all of the colored graphs and top bar display but the video picture ...

Strange behavior on aspect ratio change
Hi... I'm new to comskip and have been playing around with it for the last few nights and have had some positive results. On one particular show however, I am having a lot of trouble trying to cut on aspect ratio changes. As much as anything, I am trying to understand how tuning works, rather than j...
