Re: What am I missing?
I don't really know much about DVRMS Toolbox. I think the stars were perfectly aligned when I was able to get it working. In the "File Watcher" tab, do you have a dot before the extension name in the "Watched Ext" textbox? (.wtv) I have remove all of the other extensions in "...

Re: Comskip Setup for Dummies?
I followed this guide and ignored the ShowAnalyzer installation section. http://hd.engadget.com/2009/10/22/how-to-automatically-skip-commercials-in-windows-7-media-center/ Install the comskip files in C:\Program Files (x86)\DVRMSToolbox\Applications Verify the comskip.ini file contains output_dvrmst...

Re: Configuring comskip for wtv files and xbox extender
The last time I tried live detection, which was about a month ago, comskip would sometimes work and sometimes crash. I thought this was still a known problem that Erik is working on. bmblank, If you know how to configure comskip to do live detection without crashing, please share! To configure dvrms...

Re: Configuring comskip for wtv files and xbox extender
I recently went through this exercise of configuring comskip and DVRMS Toolbox for Windows 7 Media Center wtv files. I made screenshots of the configuration settings that are working for me. Use this as a go-by to configure your system. Commercial detection is working, but the comskip processing mus...

Re: Comskip Crashage on Live TV Scans
I also tried live detection and experienced crashes using DVRMS Toolbox and 7MC. My "Workers" parameter is set to 1 in DVRMS Toolbox. I have turned off live detection.
Running detection after the show completes seems to work fine using DVRMS Toolbox "Wait Time" = 10

Re: SKip back does not wotk
Has anyone used the new 2.x versions of MCEBuddy? I plan on converting from SageTV to Media Center 7 in the near future and I'm also looking for an easy to use file-watcher program to use with Media Center and Comskip. MCEBuddy works with Comskip and looks user friendly.

Re: Any Alternative to DTb File Watcher?
Yes, someone please give us a simple file watcher for Windows 7 Media Center. I'm waiting for live comskip processing of wtv files and a simple file watcher before switching from SageTV to Media Center. In SageTV the CommercialDetector plugin launches comskip. I simply installed the plugin a couple ...

Re: Windows 7 .WTV file format support
sccrgoalie1, just so you won't feel like your alone, let me say that I'm also anxiously awaiting wtv support. I'm still running SageTV with comskip on my XP computer. I have a Windows 7 machine built, but it's turned off and idle until I can use comskip with the Media Center wtv files. I hope to mak...

Re: Windows 7 .WTV file format support
Hi, I'm a SageTV refugee hoping to use Windows 7 Media Center in the future. I installed Windows 7 on a spare PC and then installed ShowAnalyzer, DvrmsToolbox and DTBAddin. This was disappointing. Only about 50% of the commercials were successfully skipped. I currently use Comskip with SageTV where ...
