Comskip and Beyond TV
Thanks, for all your work on this. I support a addon tool for BTV, AutoXvid, which is posted by BTV when it has completed recording a show. My tool then automaticlly cuts commercials, then encodes to Xvid. I now offer three methods of commercial cut that utilizes comskip. comskip and mpgtx for SD co...

recording in progress
It doesn't help the general case, but Beyond TV, for a recording in progress, has a xml file that exists for as long as the recording is in progress. It is: Recording-drive:\Recording-path\Recording-name.Recording-filetype.inprogress.xml and in addition, the recording has Hidden attribute while it i...

I too have Beyond TV 4.3 installed. I have never attempted to run comskip livetv against any other version of Beyond TV, but seeing your post, I tried it against BTV 4.3 with the same results that you experienced. Once comskip caught up with the video record buffer it ended. I examined the log, but ...

Request Comskip.ini use section headers
Would it be possible for the comskip.ini to start using a section header? First line: [ComSkip] I use software to automate BTV recordings commercial cut, then encode to AVI. Windows INI calls all require a section header, to read or set ini parameters. I have experimented with editing into comskip.i...

TS the same as TP?
Beyond TV produces TP, which contain multiple TS streams. I have tested the latest ComSkip against tp, with ProjectX output. Comskip seems to scan, and builds a ProjectX output, but in my single test, it cut everything Except the first commercial. I have no experience with HD, just a few HD (tp) rec...

feedback BTV chapters
Erik, your chapters file works just fine. In BTV, if a Recording_name.mpg.chapters.xml exists in same folder with the recording, BTV indicates SmartChapters is present for the recording. During playback, on my remote, Channel Up or Channel Down, skips to the next chapter mark. Thus during playback, ...

This ini setting worked fine (100%) for NBC and CBS, however it still misses some commercials for my ABC and Fox networks. Still learning about tuning the ini.

Build 33 ProjectX feedback
I have tested this (ProjectX output) and it worked fine. I also tested BTV chapters output. That also worked great!
Thanks
Thanks
Can someone confirm its working? I can't confirm it yet, but I know it will work. I used comskip 79_30 to do scan, took your txt file, converted frames to times to build a time.txt file that looks like this: CollectionPanel.CutMode=4 0:0:0 0:8:26 0:11:58 0:17:34 0:20:29 0:29:58 0:33:18 0:40:34 0:43...
