Re: 81.018 crash after logo
Works well, although the thread_count parameter seems to not make any difference to the CPU usage. Should I post this to a separate thread?

Re: 81.018 crash after logo
With that file there wouldn't be much left to scan once it's found the logo.
I'll stick with my current setup for now but it's superb progress and I'll test the next release.
Thanks!

81.018 crash after logo
I've just tried the latest version and unfortunately it stops reading my testfile just after it starts the second pass once the logo is found. This is with my MPEG2 > H264 converted files using videoredo. It works OK on an off air H264/AAC-LATM 1080i test file although the progress says 0% all the w...

Re: H264 & MPEG2 WTV Support - my reliable solution
I'll happily help test live tv but I wonder whether the decoding speed will be an issue with hd h264

Re: DVB-T Closed Captions
No worries, it's more for completeness and future proofing than anything else. I'm very grateful for the assistance with the faint logo.

Re: DVB-T Closed Captions
Just tried it, no data file created, and the option did appear in the log so I must have typed it right.
Would you like the file to look at - 256meg

DVB-T Closed Captions
Can comskip read DVB-T Closed captions?
According to the spec they are a series of bitmaps sent alongside the main video stream. I've transcoded to MPEG2 from H264 using VideoReDo and they are viewable on the transcoded file but comskip doesn't seem to see them.

Re: H264 & MPEG2 WTV Support - my reliable solution
OK, I'll do a few tests. I've just recorded a problematic clip which will lend itself to this.

Re: H264 & MPEG2 WTV Support - my reliable solution
Is that resolution good enough to work with hd logos? So far I've kept it the same.

H264 & MPEG2 WTV Support - my reliable solution
I've been reliably using Comskip with H264 and MPEG2 HD / SD WTV files. To do this I use DVRMSToolbox to run VideoReDo TVsuite Beta 612 which converts the files to MPEG2 first before running comskip Pros: Comskip is much quicker working with MPEG2 than it is on H264, so tuning is much faster once th...

Re: Does the position of parameters in comskip.ink matter
Thanks
One further question, can I remove any values I don't need and rely on comskip to use the default values?
