Re: Threads setting - donators V0.81.093
Is this for all recordings? I see difference depending on the recording format, even between different h.264 recordings Not sure, the SD files I was working on earlier were scanned fast, so I didn't look at them to see how many threads they were using. the one I'm working on now is File: Name : C:\...

Re: Finding odd logo
Will see if it's static - is there any documentation on editing a logo file to make sure it's accurate

Finding odd logo
One of our TV channels has started putting details of the next program next to the logo in the same very dim logo font. This is playing havoc with logo detection when they do it as it doesn't appear at exactly the same time as the logo. Setting logo_max_percentage_of_screen to 0.008 stops it finding...

Threads setting - donators V0.81.093
I've been optimising my ini files in donators version 0.81.093 and have discovered that despite having thread_count=4, it seems to only use 2 threads in the first logo finding pass and then 1 in the main pass. I'm running a 6700K with an SSD on a 1080i file so it shouldn't be starved of data. The 67...

Bad PTS WTV Files
Erik, are you still after WTV files with bad PTS? I've just started troubleshooting a bunch of files where the Ad's appear in totally the wrong position and it seems this is caused by a lot of timeline correction. Setting max_repair_size=1000 has helped but the blackframes are still in the wrong pos...

Re: VRD Bug when used with CSV File
That will make tuning a lot easier!
I've just moved from using videoredo to convert to mpeg2 before scanning to using comskip natively and it's a great improvement. Much faster and slightly more accurate.
Thanks very much for your continued developments!

Why are some blocks not scored?
I've noticed that occasionally some blocks don't get scored Block 7 has logo. Block 7 score: Before - 1.00 After - 0.06 Block 7 has excess length. Block 7 score: Before - 0.06 After - 0.00 Block 9 has no logo. Block 9 score: Before - 1.00 After - 2.00 Block 8's score is missing. It is in the block l...

Blackframe types
Can anyone tell me what the "cause" field is in the black frame count?
I have only blackframe and logo detection on yet I have many frames with the cause "t"
Obviously the "b" refers to a proper blackframe but I wonder what the "t" means

VRD Bug when used with CSV File
Erik, I've just started experimenting with your latest donator build 81.043 and have found a bug relating to VideoReDo when used with a CSV file. When using VideoRedo using the original output type setting and with a WTV file VRD output works. However if I use it with a CSV file <MPEG Stream Type>4 ...

Don't suppose you've had time time to sort this?

Re: NZ Freeview Log Errors
FFPlay can't start because SDL.dll is missing from my computer apparently.
Adding SDL.dll downloaded from http://www.libsdl.org/download-1.2.php changes the error to "the application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."
Any clues?

Re: NZ Freeview Log Errors
I'm just playing with the latest build now, looking in the excel file it does have volume levels listed but sometimes they start late - one test file started at frame 7403! Advert scanning also fails due to no silence at the cutpoints. It does however find the start and finish of the program. This i...

Re: New VideoReDo format
Apparently it needs everything within the <OpenStreamParams> section.erik wrote:I can change the format but not to include everything videoredo generates.
Could someone list the exact lines that need to be added for what input format?
I'll email you a new format VPRj file.

New VideoReDo format
The latest version of VideoReDo has problems with the VPRJ files generated by comskip, apparently the comskip generated file is a very old version that is no longer supported. Is there any change comskip could be updated to output the new file format?
