Re: Force trip beginning/end?
but is there a way to force trim a certain amount of time from the beginning/end regardless of commercial? I believe this one has been requested many times, also by me not long ago: http://www.kaashoek.com/comskip/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1447 For some reason Erik doesn't seem particularly keen on i...

Sorry KenBotwinick for hijacking your thread. I didn't mean to. Hopefully Erik or someone else could provide the info you're after.KenBotwinick wrote:That wasn't nearly as helpful as I was hoping for... I guess I won't be donating.

Yes, I know, but you usually do tip off the guys who have reported bugs that a new build is available. In this case I suppose you were very sure bug was gone that wasn't necessary

Oh, yes you're right! It came yesterday and there was no notice/announcement about it on forum. Perhaps it's an unofficial version?KenBotwinick wrote:Hi,

Re: Delete before first and after last commercial in seconds
But with the different delays in the schedule you will still miss the end of the show? Or do you in such a case manually re-position to still see the end? The PVR pre and post roll setting applies to all recordings. The actual broadcaster in this example rarely has any delays. If such a case will e...

Re: Delete before first and after last commercial in seconds
Setting the PVR software with no pre and post roll time, peculiar things starts to happen when scheduling recordings. Minimum pre and post roll time for everything to work as it should is 1 minute. Unfortunately a 1 minute postroll wasn't enough cuz I sometimes kept missing the end of the show, due ...

Delete before first and after last commercial in seconds.
A broadcaster of mine are throwing me curveballs where "delete_show_after_last_commercial=1" doesn't delete after show trailers entirely, due to logo detection. I did notice there's two options to keep first and last seconds of a recording: always_keep_first_seconds=0 always_keep_last_seco...

Re: Check if cutscene method works
.VPrj is included because of a small bug: File cannot be found when opened by VideoRedo when the filename is in Greek, like this one. I've loaded the file to an editor and saved it as ANSI, VideoRedo opens it just right: Erik was kind enough making it possible for Comskip to output unicoded .vprj f...

Re: Re-processing Live TV
Only at the very end of processing a file all the global information is available to tune all the heuristics. So any indeterminate result generated during recording will be poorer than at completion. That confirms what I suspected. Have read somewhere on the forum the liveprocessing algorithm works...

Re: Re-processing Live TV
Yes, it will work in the sense of not aborting prematurely. However now after testing the actual TS liveprocessing results I'm far from satisfied. Don't know if some special tuned .ini is required to get the same great commercial detection precision that I have when processing finished recordings or...

Re: Re-processing Live TV
Made it user settable in next build Changes on 0.81.050 - Ini parameter added: output_incommercial=0 set to 1 to enable the output of a status file containing a '1' when during live tv processing comskip detects it is inside a commercial. Hi Erik! I wonder about this incommercial file and it's func...

Re: Re-processing Live TV
Sounds great
I guess the percentage meter is a harder nut to crack, yes? I can imagine to solve that one would probably require lots of time and painstaking examining massive amounts of code.
Many thanks Erik for your work, you're the best
