Re: Zoom Player or MPC-HC for Commercial Skipping

You can set the others to 0 as long as you don't need them, and you'll have fewer unnecessary files.

Re: Network Promos coming up not as commercials

No, a lot of commercials are closed captioned now. Unfortunately (unless, of course, you're deaf and you really WANT the commercials :D ). But it would probably still be a great tool to add.

Re: Any Alternative to DTb File Watcher?

Thanks to this wonderful thread, (even) I was able to get dirmon2 working with comskip. Many, many thanks to those who contributed here, especially since there is no information available anywhere else (if there is, will someone please post a link). And now that it's working, I have no need for the ...

Think this might help? added_recording=14 (0-MAXINT) ;Amount of minutes that a recording is longer then the actual show + closing commercial (if any) ;;This value is used to determine the maximum amount to remove in the below delete_show_... settings delete_show_after_last_commercial=0 (0=disabled /...

Re: comskip81_054_donators rerereprocessing video file

Nope, sorry. Found another looper.
Again, replacing the comskipGUI v.055 with comskipGUI v.052 seems to solve the problem.
Hope that helps.

Re: comskip81_054_donators rerereprocessing video file

Okay, awake and running, and seems to be okay. Of course, I don't remember which files looped before, but so far so good.

Re: comskip81_054_donators rerereprocessing video file

I'd love to. Unfortunately, using the old version that's worked fine, I'm getting "Sleep while opening" for the last half hour. I've rebooted the computer and tried everything else that I've done before, so I'm giving up for now. I'll try again later and compare the old and new versions. T...

Re: comskip81_054_donators rerereprocessing video file

Of course. v.52 worked fine.
But 54 is bigger/better/faster/stronger.

Re: comskip81_054_donators rerereprocessing video file

I hope this helps:
Using the v.54 files with comskipGUI v.52 seems to eliminate the endless looping of my wtv files.

Re: comskip81_054_donators rerereprocessing video file

Same thing happens to me with .wtv files. Interestingly, I tried to overwrite the 54 version files with the 52, and comskip.exe won't let me delete it because it's "in use by comskip.exe." I gave up and just copied over everything else, so I'm using 54 comskip.exe with all the other files ...

logo detection

I was under the misconception that logo detection hasn't worked in a while. I tried it recently, since, while watching the GUI, the yellow logo line PERFECTLY detects commercial breaks, but the resultant file doesn't reflect that detection. I've played with all the "logo" files I can find ...
