NZ Freeview Log Errors
I've just turned on logging to try and tune the commercial detection with the EA version and NZ HD Freeview in TS format and I've noticed many errors. I'm guessing they are something to do with the AAC-HE Codec we use in NZ? If so any chance of a fix? I'm happy to supply you with any segments to tes...

No probs, let me know if you do work out a demux for it and I can let you have some samples, NZ is a slightly odd variation.

Re: Any benefit to using a flash drive to scan from?
Superb - any idea when you will have anything to test? I've found Comskip to be really good at finding ad's without much configuring.
As an aside would you like some samples of New Zealand HDTV in WTV format to test with?

Re: Any benefit to using a flash drive to scan from?
Just checked, Comskip.exe is taking 25% CPU on this 4 virtual core i5 CPU. Looking at the CPU usage graph one virtual core is close to 100% when Comskip is running, the other 3 are slightly up on idle.

Re: Any benefit to using a flash drive to scan from?
I think a version that uses all cores would be a very good idea, it should speed things up a lot especially if it could be run at a lower than normal priority. I think DVRMSToolbox launches it this way Please let me know if I can help with testing the standard here is h264 with aac-he or dolby digit...

Re: Any benefit to using a flash drive to scan from?
Thanks for the reply, can you offer any speed up tips? Any way to force it to max one of the cores or to use more than one core?

Any benefit to using a flash drive to scan from?
Is there any speed benefit to using Comskip with H264 to scan from a Flash Drive? It's currently taking 45 minutes to scan a 30 minute show on a core i7!

WTV coming any time soon?
I've got the early access version of Comskip and have to convert my HD WTV files to TS before I can process them with Comskip, is a native WTV H264 version likely to arrive soon or is TS the only way for the foreseeable future?
Cheers

Speed issues
I've been experimenting with Comskip on NZ Freeview and it is taking 45ish minutes to process a 32 minute H264 1080i TS show on a Core 2 Quad @ 2.83GHz with 4GB RAM, is there likely to be any speed increases in the near future or is it just down to the size (2.5GB) of the HD show?
