Re: Live feedback
If I recall correctly, live commercial skip is possible with dvrms format, but not wtv. At least not as of yet. Here's hoping its soon.
Michigan
Not so much a support question asjust a plain question...
Anybody from the northern Michigan area? I get my TV ota and I'd like to see what kind of config.ini works.

Re: How often do you want to be notified of new releases?
I think every time, except maybe no more than once a week or something. Sometimes you get on a roll and run out 3 in a day. that's getting a little crazy, but other than that, every time.

Re: Time line off by 2 minutes on HD recordings
I gotta say, originally I started with donors .028 or so. I was not particularly happy with how it worked.I thought it just had crappy detection. All of a sudden .031 comes around and things work! Freaking awesome. Now I just need dtb to be bulletproof an not flake out in watching files a couple tim...

Re: Reverse Comskip
Sounds like somebody isn't interested in the super bowl, but the commercials.
Seems like using comclean somebody could rig something up only having a small program intercept and inverse whatever is telling comclean what to keep and what to remove.
It sounds easy in my head, I swear!

Re: Clean up process?
In the ini file the xxxx_output lines are what you're thinking of I think. Also in one or two of the tabs there are checkboxes for log files and junk. I think those will dump to the same place if you're not careful.

I feel silly asking, but sometimes the kiss principle is right on... Do you have the dtb addin running and working properly?

From what I've read, you should set your wait time to 10 minutes to prevent it from trying to process too soon. I hope I'm not misunderstanding the problem.

Re: Donated version email
Its not an automated process. I got mine in an hour or two, if that. I halfway assume that by the time you read this thread again you will have it. I would assume it could take as long as a couple days, but I'm sure that's a rare occasion.
Re: i'm new
So I'm finally figuring out what is happening behind the scenes, but I have one question that brings me here. Is wtvwatcher necessary to the wmc/comskip pairing? I set up DTBs file watcher service and when I restart my computer it automatically downloaded wtvwatcher and started converting wtvs to dv...
i'm new
Hi, I'm Ben. I just donated and I'm looking forward to getting some pre release goodies. New to comskip, but not to the idea. I've been using replayTV for years before switching to wmc. Then dtb with wtvwatcher without a whole lot of success there. Hopefully not needing to convert to dvr-Ms will all...
