Skip analyzing x minutes?

Post by Hoox »

I record some sports events that I want to trim.
The events contains no commercials but I want to trim the start and the end. The footage contains no CC, AR or Audio channel changes.
I want to cut based on logo as a LIVE logo is shown for the entire event.
I know an event is at least 2 hours. Once Comskip has found the logo and found the first cut point, is there any way I can skip-ahead in the analyzing? Skip ahead 2 hours and start looking for the cut point by the logo change?
Any other way I should optimize this for only start-end trim based on logo?

This is a very special case and I don't think worth the effort.
Maybe you can use these settings to speed up processing

thread_count=4
lowres=2

and if the logo's are in the upper part of the screen
subtitles=1

or if the logo is at the bottom of the screen
logo_at_bottom=1

Thanks for the suggestions, erik. It helped a bit on the speed.
Seems like I have ran into some other problems. The logo part is detected correctly but the end result is always "no commercials detected" and everything is only one block.

This is from the log:
Logos detected on the following frames
--------------------------------------
Logo start - 3450 end - 295300 length - 3:14:34.00 before:138.0 s after:7803.2 s
Logo start - 483525 end - 490356 length - 0:04:33.24 before:19341.0 s after:1.0 s

The logo parts are correct, but I only want to keep the first one of 3:14:34. Did I overlook a setting for comskip to remove everything after?

This is the complete log: http://pastebin.com/929zYfnu
