I am using commercial removal as supplied by Plex, and it seems to work well on the soaps and local news programs, all of which have a prominent logo or watermark. But Jeopardy is syndicated, and has no on-screen overlays. This apparently makes it hard to handle, and yesterday's recording completely cut the Final Jeopardy portion, which is more than a little disappointing.

Are there any comskip.ini tweaks that will prevent the Final Jeopardy cut without impacting the otherwise excellent performance on other programs?

You are asking a complex question without providing a lot of information for those not watching the same shows.
Maybe good to follow the "how to ask for help" post

First off, I made the suggested donation when I first tried ComSkip with MCEBuddy, which was given up as there was always a large sound mis-alignment in the output.

Presently I am using ComSkip only as part of Plex Media Server which accomplishes the task nicely with correct audio. But since the process is embedded in the whole Plex operation of recording and converting I do not have ready access to the recording at the point that ComSkip is invoked, to identify the desired cut points vs. actual. How do you suggest I obtain more useful information to pass to you?

Copy your comskip.ini, comskip.exe and recording all to the same folder
edit comskip.ini and set
verbose=10
output_framearray=1
output_default=1
output_edl=1
drag and drop the recording on comskip.exe
look at the generated .txt file.
it contains the start and end frame numbers of the identified commercials. Use the fps found in the generated log file to calculate from time info (from your video player) to the frame numers.
Edit the .txt file so it contains the required commercial start/end frame numbers
Zip the .log, .ini, .csv and .txt together and mail to me.
