What is the best video player that supports edl and shows the frame numbers so I can accurately see what Comskip has done? I do not want a full media center, just a player. If anyone suggests a player, please include how to use it with an edl.

I did try mplayer and it doesn't work very well. Uses the edl, but freezes at every edl frame marker.

Drag and drop the video on comskipGUI.exe and after processing is finished you can view about everything and zoom in all the details.

When you have enabled the default output you can drag and drop the .txt output file on comskipGUI.exe and you can zoom around showing frame numbers.

Even better to enable the output_framearray
Then you can drag and drop the generated .csv file making comskip process the file very quickly enabling quick testing of tuning parameters
