I've noticed this a lot lately.. many shows I've watched lately have a short commercial advertising another show.. these 'clips' are in HD, just like the show I'm watching, and these 'clips' also show the same logo as the shows I'm watching.. so Comskip thinks they are part of the show I am watching! Since the AR is the same and the logo is the same, how can I try to get Comskip to skip those?

This will be difficult but...
Is there always the same short video sequence before/after the preview part? If so then you can use the cut_scene mechanism (search the forum and the readme.txt for more info)
Does the logo shortly disappear when there is a transition from the preview to the show (or the other way around) and is there a clear cutpoint (black frame) at the same time? Then it may be possible to "ignore" the logo on the short preview. Set logo_present_modifier=1 to test
If there is a clear cutpoint but the logo continues it may require to set
connect_blocks_with_logo=0
Now its realy getting difficult.
No cutpoint, the logo continues, no luck.

It seems these commercials 'might' be a bit longer than the standard commercial.. and there are at least one if not two standard commercials that come after them.. in "Survivor" last night there were 3 times this happened.. twice they were HD 'preview' type commercials for CSI: and the 3rd was for some other show.. so the commercials jump into these longer, HD commercials that have the logo present, then they jump back out to regular commercials... I think comskip just thinks it is part of the show.. although a very short segment of the show! So to answer your question, yes there is a clear cutpoint and what follows the commercial doesn't have the logo any longer..

yes there are solutions for this but please follow the "how to ask for help"post as otherwise its taking way to much time to give individual tuning help.
There are so many different broadcasting styles, and they seem to change too.
