Ignore first 60 seconds or last 60 seconds
Ignore first 60 seconds or last 60 seconds
Is there a way to tell comskip to mark the first 60 seconds as show regardless of the score and as a separate setting ignore the last 60 seconds?

I am also interested in this... Show Analyzer has this setting, and it was useful so that my wife did not miss the previews that often appear at the end of the show (but are usually marked as commercial).
Re: Ignore first 60 seconds or last 60 seconds
I tried the below and it doesn't work. I too would like to see the the beginning and end of shows not marked as commercials.
min_commercial_break_at_start_or_end=60
min_commercial_break_at_start_or_end=60

A question
When the number of seconds to keep is say 60 seconds and a commercial has been found that starts at the start and extends for say 250 seconds, should Comskip insert an cutpoint at 60 seconds and mark the first 60 seconds as show, or should an existing cutpoint after the first seconds be used and everything from the start till that cutpoint be marked as show?

Re: Ignore first 60 seconds or last 60 seconds
I build a first version in build 23.
Any commercial detected shorter than always_keep_xxx_seconds seconds will be deleted from the list.
feedback is welcome.

Erik,
I tried the below works exactly how I wanted it thanks. I like the way you can set diff times for start and end.
always_keep_first_seconds=0
always_keep_last_seconds=0

Re: Ignore first 60 seconds or last 60 seconds
Last week, I copied over build 23 and added the line "always_keep_last_seconds=90" to the end of the comskip.ini file.
However, in Rescue Me this week (recorded Tuesday night, and processed later that night) the last 4 minutes were marked as commercial.
I am not sure I understand your statement, "Any commercial detected shorter than always_keep_xxx_seconds seconds will be deleted from the list."
Does this mean that because the commercial at the end was longer than 90 seconds, comskip ignores the always_keep_last_seconds=90 and marks it as a commercial anyway?
