Yes,

Can you mail me the complete log file?
And check if you can play and seek within the recording using something like ffplay or mplayer

What percentage of input files is causing a crash?

I just successfully played and seeked through the file with both mplayer and VLC.
Here are two log files (with and without two_pass_logo=0)

Also FYI I just ran it through v0.80.037 successfully.

Found some problems causing a crash, will be solved in build 0.81.20
One is an out of memory problem with long recordings.
