Hi,
I am using comskip (V0.81.040, donator version) for postprocessing DVB recordings made with ARGUS-TV.
Argus is using ezThumb to create thumbnails after recording ends.
There seems to be a problem for ezThumb to access the .ts file while comskip is running.
Is comskip locking read-access to the .ts in any way?
The effect I see is, that thumbs are created with 0-bytes or crippled.
I filed a bug over in the ARGUS-TV forum and a fellow user performed some tests, indicating that comskip "behaves badly".
See: http://www.argus-tv.com/forum/viewtopic ... 828#p27762
TIA for your time and efforts,
regards

comskip locks .ts, preventing other apps from reading it.
Re: comskip locks .ts, preventing other apps from reading it
As comskip can read a file while it is being recorded you can be sure comskip does not lock the file.

Thanks for your fast reply.
The support for live-tv is indeed the key argument to follow the hunt in the other directions, I think.
Haven't thought about that.
