Comskip build 120 will crash while searching for a logo when the resolution of the recording changes. This only can happen on digitally recorded HD broadcasts.
A workaround (which seems to be the normal use case) is to ensure the logo is detected before the first commercial block where there could be resolution change.
A typical bad case would be to start a recording with a 480i commercial block and then switch to 1080i or 720p
