Yes,
Make sure you set
global_threshold=0.95
That will ensure everything gets deleted
Then set
max_show....=a value in seconds larger then any block you want to delete.
Make sure you disable any method exceptl cutscene

Hi Erik,
I'd just like to say that this suggestion works really well and I've been able to cut out everything except the show for a few programmes I record regularly.
