Help decoding verbose log files
I currently have verbosity=10 and I like the level of detail in the log files. I'm trying to use the data there to follow the scanning process and learn why certain settings result in better or worse detection. Most of the log file is pretty easy to follow and written in language that I mostly understand, but some areas have somewhat cryptic single letter codes that I don't understand (a,u,b?) Where can I find more information about the output of the log files?
Re: Help decoding verbose log files
Nothing in the tunig guide?
The large letters (A,L,E,S,C) are causes for scoring
The smaller case letters are the cut cuase (b,v,s,a,...)

Re: Help decoding verbose log files
That's what I needed. I'm not used to looking for htm files. I was looking for a text file and didn't see it. That has the details I was looking for.
