DvrmsToolbox 1.2.2.4 vs. 1.2.2.3

I'm new here and just started browsing around, but I noticed a couple threads complaining about commercial skip not working. The common thread I saw was DvrmsToolbox 1.2.2.4.
I had a nicely running 1.2.2.3/ShowAnalyzer system running, and like a fool I decided to fix it even though it wasn't broken--and I moved to DTB 1.2.2.4. I then wrestled with things for a week--it wasn't working right.
I finally ripped out DTB and SA by the roots, which took some effort, and reinstalled DTB 1.2.2.3 (and then SA). Since then, everything works fine.
I suspect if you're using DTB 1.2.2.4 and are having problems, you should try finding 1.2.2.3 and installing that instead (manually removing all of 1.2.2.4 first, of course).
Back to lurk mode before I install comskip and remove SA...
