How fast is ComSkip?

Hi,

I'm probably donating for the preview version but before I do so I'd like to ask:
How long does it take to search for commercials in a TV recording?

A HD recording uses h.264, 1920 x 1080 at 50i (iirc).

Let's say I record a 90 minutes show and my current system uses a Quadcore Q6600 at 3 GHz with 8GB Ram.

What do I have to expect how long it will take to let ComSkip finish it's work?

Regards,
Highend

Search the forum for the word "minutes" and you will find some user data

It seems it needs about 2/3 up to 3/4 of the original playlength time in HD.

In my experience its more like 1/3. I can do an hour long show in less than 20 I would say. Half hour show generally in less than 10 minutes. And when live processing gets finished,oh boy!
