Thank you Erik for ComSkip. I find it more useful than BTV's ComSkip.

I grieve with thee that your HideRun.exe has been exploited by malware producers.

For the first time, today AVG Internet Security has warned me that HideRun.exe is a threat via "AVG Identity Protection."

I have submitted a false positive report to AVG with information about how I use it with ComSkip, but given the amount of illegitimate use of HideRun.exe by malware producers, I suppose that it will ever be "cleared".

Have you come up with a another alternative for hiding ComSkip processes that cannot be misused? I have searched this forum for "hide", and found nothing else but HideRun.

There are other tools to monitor folders for new recordings and run comskip without showing a window
- Dirmon2
- Comskip monitor
