Problem with mpgtx

Post by mzup »

Erik
I started having a issue with some recordings and was wondering if you may know about it. I am using comskip with comclean006 and once in a while I get an error when it fires up mpgtx. It says range [2:2:0 - 2:3:59] results in invalid [2256183618 - 2292862013] range. I know the numbers will be different per recording, this just happens to be the last one I tried, but then it doesn't strip the commercials out and it bombs out.
Do you know why this is happening? Again, it doesn't happen on all recordings, and it doesn't always happen with the same show.

Could you check if the cutpoints that fail are before or after the actual size of the mpeg file?

Does this problem occur both on the PVR250 AND the ATI or only on one of them?

I'll look into whether it is card specifc or not.
How do I check where the cutpoints are?

If you did the logging like stated in the wiki the log will contain the cutpoints, its in the commandline calling mpgtx.
