Not in any order but does this work on linux and/or is it open source? I also would like to know a few other things.

What kind of processing demand does this have? I want to know if would work on a setup that would be connected to a live TV and while commercials are on the TV is changed to another channel without commercials.

Maybe I would need some kind of external card like the ATI All-in-Wonder?

Where can I find the source to look at?
