I am relatively new to Comskip. I use it with MCEBuddy.
At the end of CBS Sunday Morning there is a short nature segment. It is all ambient noise and no voice.
Comskip cuts this segment out. I have made the change to the ini described at the top of this form for cutting too much.
What else can I try? I don't mind if it cuts nothing after this segment, because it is in the last 5 minutes of the show.

Did you read the documentation inside the distribution zip file?

hi,
there is a settin for delay before and after, so defo an option for this but don't have to hand the file in the zip. its something like cut comercial after show / before show. you state a number of seconds in the .ini

What's the threshold for the end of the show? The show format is usually like this:erik wrote:How about

last story segment
normal commercial break (~2 minutes)
moment of nature (30 seconds to 2.5 minutes) <~this is what gets cut that I want to keep
normal commercial break (~2 minutes)
end credits
Presently it cuts out everything after the last story segment.
So if I set always keep last seconds to keep segments to something very long like 5 minutes, how far back will that apply?

Re: Cutting non commercial segment with no dialog
Oh, ok. The wording is a bit confusing.
But if I specify say, 300 seconds, it just won't cut anything at all in the last 300 seconds of the file.
Do I have that right?
This makes it sound like any break under the specified amount will be left in, if it's at the end of the file.;Any commercial at the end shorter then this amount of seconds will be regarded as show

It does what it says.
ALWAYS keep the last 300 seconds
ALWAYS keep the last 300 seconds
