Force trim beginning/end?

Here you can ask your questions on how to use Comskip for the detection of commercials. Also questions on how to remove commercials are welcome

Commercials are very annoying at times, especially when you are watching something serious and it comes in between. Even it has encroached the internet which makes it further annoying. I believe there has to be enough care taken to stop this.

I have 3 channels since way back where "delete_show_before_first_commercial=1" and "delete_show_after_last_commercial=1" doesnt work despite very short commercial breaks between the shows. Described earlier in this thread. Got help from ya finetuning the settings, but the result got worse. Ruling was "difficult broadcasting style".

Problem seems to be spreading. Now comskip results on two more channels display similar issues, but only for "delete_show_after_last_commercial=1". Would it be possible make more forceful measures to this command, so postshow really gets deleted? How short should the commercial break between the shows be for the command to work? if using this setting as well "delete_show_before_or_after_current=1" could that one mess up for the other metioned?
