Where can I download com clean version 4 ?

I went to

http://www.kaashoek.com/comskip/files/

And found only the old versions of comclean, and it doesnt work well...

comcleandvr.zip

comskip.ini

Comclean4 uses Mpeg2Schnitt. Cutting is done on I frames and the timeline is correct

If these are the right files? How do I use them more effectively ?

Did you try any of the versions?
What where the results?

For mpeg2schnitt
Set
output_mpeg2schnitt=1
in comskip.ini
and use the created file as input for mpeg2schnitt.

Alright I will give that a shot.

I tried out versions 1 and 2 of comclean and... after the commercials were stripped, the mpegs were no longer playable by any player.

I hope I dont need to know german for mpeg2schnitt...

but you don't have to cut the mpeg to play without commercials.
If you let comskip generate a .edl file you can use mplayer to skip automatically over the commercials.
The same can be done with zoomplayer.
