Comskip won't read Channel 9 in Sydney, Australia

Post by mimwdv »

I'm hoping someone can help. Comskip won't to read the files from Channel 9 in Sydney, Australia properly. I've got it working just fine on every other channel, but everything I record on this one, Comskip seems to interpret it as only being a few frames long (the log below is from a 2h 42 min file) Other applications (mediaplayer classic, zoomplayer, projectX) don't have a problem with the file. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to fix it?
The log file reports:

You could upload a recording to my FTP server so I can test the TS input.
I assume that is where the problem is.
Start uploading and abort when its enough (at least 500 seconds for this recording), whatever was uploaded will stay on the server.

Hi Erik, I've uploaded about 65MB, hope it's enough. Thanks for taking the time to look at it for me.

I tested the file and indeed it causes Comskip to crash.
I made a small improvement in Comskip 0.79 build 45, it seems to work.
Could you test?
You will notice a lot of error messages on this particular recording, should be no problem, ignore.

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you, Erik - but it works brilliantly. Bedankt!
