Donator version - recommended settings for WMC

I've recently switched to the donator's version of comskip. Before, I was using WTVWatcher, DTBAddin, comskip non-donator's version and DVRMSToolbox. From what I understand, the donator version can cut the commercials out of the wtv file without having to convert to DVRMS, is that correct? If so, do I still nee all those pieces to make it work? I'm a little unclear how to do that. I did search, and did not see a real clear guide. I saw this link: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1197, but I'm not sure if that's the recommended way to go?
