I use to have Comskip working perfectly using Windows Media Center and DVRMSTToolbox...
For the past month it no longer works--I get the error =Commercial File does not exist, would you like to process...= which does nothing.
Any advice?
I installed it so long ago, not sure where to begin. Are there any Services I should check to make sure they are running?
Thanks...

Re: Commercial File does not exist, would you like to proces
Maybe your broadcaster switched on copy protection / encryption?
Set
verbose=10
in comskip.ini
run comskip and look inside the log file
If there are many warnings about possibly encrypted content you know the problem.

Re: Commercial File does not exist, would you like to proces
I am using Verizon FiOS. I would think if it was effecting everyone on FiOS---it would be a well known.
Are there instructions on doing a complete uninstall and re-install?

There is no install/uninstall for comskip, you only need to have the comskip.exe where it should be (depends on your recording software)
Can you set
verbose=10
in you comskip.ini file and then drag and drop a recording on comskip.exe and mail me the generated log file?
