Comskip Support Forum

I downloaded the Windows version of Comskip to my Windows 8 machine. Attempting to run it gives the error "The program can't start because api-ms-win-core-libraryloader-l1-2-1.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem".

Is there anything I can do about this?

I upgraded the machine to WIndows 10, and comskip now runs.

I notice that NextPVR (the program I use to record and watch TV shows) includes all these dlls with their distribution, thus allowing it to run with any version of Windows.
