Here you can ask your questions on how to use Comskip for the detection of commercials. Also questions on how to remove commercials are welcome

I have recently updated my zoomplayer to version 5, and I've noticed that the cutlists created by comskip no longer work correctly. I had used 4.51 to play my recorded tv shows and it worked almost flawlessly. With the new version, the cuts don't work right, often bouncing me to the end of the video after a few seconds, or starting the video from the middle.

Do you have an example of their new format showing the differences between old and new?

This is the contents of a file created by comskip..
JumpSegment("From=687.9873","To=959.0581")
Contents of a file created manually with zoomplayer 4.51
// Zoom Player v4.51 Scene Cut file.
//
JumpSegment("Start=702.600","End=915.500")
And zoomplayer 5
//Zoom Player v5.00 Scene Cut file.
//
JumpSegment("From=702.600","To=915.500")
is it possible that extra digit is the problem?

You can take the comskip generated file and edit it manually to remove the last digit and test to see if it works.
If you can confirm that this small change solves the problem then I will change comskip to remove the 4th digit.

And how about adding the comment lines?
//Zoom Player v5.00 Scene Cut file.

Also didn't work with the comment lines added. I posted again on the inmatrix forums. Maybe it will get a response.

Can't you post a zoomplayer file that works? Or better, mail it to me.

I have yet to find any zoomplayer 5 cut file to work. Everything works with 4.51. Nothing works with 5.0

Then how do you know the feature is working in this new zoomplayer version?

That's just it...I don't believe the feature is working with the new zoomplayer.

FYI - this bug has been identified by the zoomplayer devs and will be fixed in its next release.
