Hello,
Very new user here,
I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction of how to change the comskip ini file from the default to one for new zealand, if i were to guess it would be by renaming the comskip.ini to another name and changing the supplied NZ ini to comskip.ini but that's a guess?

I have noticed in my searches i have more than 1 comskip.ini file one computer as well, there is one inside lifextender one in DVRMStools and one in MCEbuddy. is this normally problematic?

I use comskip as part of lifextender normally.
It all works very well but i am still getting some advertisements and really would like to know more about it

Many thanks - great software

Kelem

Comskip uses the comskip.ini it either finds next to the executable, next to the recording or any anywhere in the folders set in the PATH.
But that can be changed by explicitly setting where it should find the ini file.
The various utilities you mention all invoke comskip with a explicit reference to where it can find the ini file.
So if you want to change the ini file you must update it in all the locations.

However, some of the tools you mension do require special output settings and simply copying the NZ specific ini file over the old one will remove these settings. You should look at the differences and make sure you merge them
The lifextender forum is good for asking help to do that
