Using videoredo

Post by mzup »

Hi Erik, I just started using comskip after trying showanalyzer and like this better as it is so much faster. however, I use videoredo 2.2 to remove the cuts comskip found and am having a problem with it. below is the .txt and the vprj file created by comskip. Correct me if I am wrong but it looks like the txt file found the beginning to be a commercial, which is correct, but the vprj file doesn;t show it listed. I drag and drop the txt onto comskip and the cut is showing and is perfect. But why isn't it showing up in the vprj file?

TXT file:
FILE PROCESSING COMPLETE 39339 FRAMES AT 2997
-------------------
1 7099
39338 39339

VPRJ File:
<Version>2
<Filename>D:\dvd-temp\Will & Grace-(The Object of My Rejection)-2006-02-22-0__original.mpg
<Cut>13125779333:13126113000

Thanks for any help you can give me.

That did it. Now I just need to figure out the settings to not cut to much of the beginning. It is taking out the first block of show as well as the commercial. But they maybe from the fact that I am testing this on a show that had the commercials cut from later on in the show. Will try a new recording.

Thanks alot for getting this resolved so quickly.
