I live in the UK and from various posts (e.g. http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Co ... _in_the_UK) and looking at my own recordings I believe that the most reliable method of commercial detection would base it entirely on logo detection as most of the channels over here have a small logo present throughout the 'show' and hardly ever during a 'commercial'.
Therefore I attempted to run comskip with what I thought would use purely the logo detector to locate commercials. The debugger window showed that this would indeed work very well as the black 'logo' bar appears in all the right places and never during a commercial. However the heuristics seemed not to work as the grey 'commercial' bars were not shown.
My question is - how can I force comskip to base its commercial cutting on just the logo detector?
