Default Text Format and Live TV

Post by twemperor » Tue Sep 28, 2010 6:14 pm

I noticed that the format for the default text file changes during Live TV processing, and the final version when complete. There appears to be a header row which includes information on the framerate and total number of frames. Clearly the total number of frames is not known until completion, and a constant update of all the running total of frames would be too much I/O. However, at least for Mediaportal, having the format of the default .txt file change makes it difficult to parse. It would be nice to have a consistent format. Perhaps the file can just change with the addition of new chapters (commercials).

Thoughts?
