Comskip processes the file and then when it has more data to wait for on a recording program, it lays dormant forever. More than an hour. I usually just terminate the process if it's completely stuck.
I have thread_count=1 and a wait time of 5 minutes. Something I read here.
This never happened when it processed on a local machine where it was recording.
