hey erik I just wanted to let you know that the current version comskip81_049_donators with Elgato EyeTV and hauppauge hdpvr is working with h264 and livetv detection! I upgraded Wine to the newest version and since I am using Mountain Lion I upgraded XQuartz and set the following in the comskip.ini...

what would make the detection be so dramatic from 80_42 and 81_31 can I compile something for you to look at. I would like to take advantage of the 8 treads in the 81 chain release which does not work on the 80 chain.

I noticed that if you are using comskip80_042 thread_count=8 does not work but if you are on 81 it using all available threads just keep that in the back of your mind..

I just used Thread=8 on my i7 2.66 6mins for 60min show. Thats blazing fast compared to before.

I am not sure where I got chris from, anyways livetv detection was working on donator version 42 and it must have stopped working at some point with the new ever versions.

Yes you are dead on, I have the donator version with eyetv-comskip installed with eyetv and trying to get H264. Maybe we can share .ini files or something.

I am using the newest donator with thread=4 on 10.7.x 2.6 i7 Quad Core I am seeing 50% and 300% to Wine which is better then before. I will have to add in some of the other config other users have posted as well.

I got everything working except for it won't mark the commercials itself I need to run the script manually after the recording in eyetv with from terminal

./Library/Application Support/ETVComskip/MarkCommercials.app/Contents/MacOS/MarkCommercials

I noticed on the new donation version past v44 that Happauge HDPVR+EyeTV stopped working.

I am currently setting these attributes and will respond with a working .ini for everyone.
