It's early days, but last night I set up 3 recordings on the problematic Channel 5 (SD) and comskip worked flawlessly without crashing.

Just an update (and in response to bmblank), Channel ITV1 (SD) does crash while ITV1 HD doesn't, so bmblank might be onto something with the catchup differences between SD & HD.

I have Freesat (UK), A channel called ITV1 HD does not need any sleep and will not crash. Channel 5 (Standard Def) needs 10 minutes sleep for it not to crash (tried 5 minutes but still crashed however not as often as 0 minutes).

I also experience crashes in about 3 in every 10 Live TV scans. Initially I thought is was DVRMS Toolbox, so I wrote an "AutoIt" script to detect new WTV files and process them with Comskip. However crashes still occur (3 in 10). I modified the AutoIt script to detect that Comskip's crashe...
