Does it matter in what order the parameters are in comskip.ini? I'd like to move everything I've changed to the bottom of the file so could I put say detection method, shrink logo, volume slip,brightness, etc together or do they have to stay in a similar place to where they originally are? Also is it possible to put blank remarks lines in if I start the line
With a ;
I have to use a different file for each channel so working out what has been changed for each Channel is a challenge
Does the position of parameters in comskip.ink matter
Re: Does the position of parameters in comskip.ink matter
The order does not matter, any order is OK,
however
comskip will use the FIRST occurrence of a setting, if there is a second setting of the same parameter it will be ignored

Re: Does the position of parameters in comskip.ink matter
Thanks
One further question, can I remove any values I don't need and rely on comskip to use the default values?

Yes,
Do check in the log file (verbose=10) if the resulting values are correct.
